Construction of asphalt concrete pavement
1. Asphalt surface treatment construction
(1) The mineral aggregate used for surface treatment shall be prepared according to the required specifications and quantity, and transported to the designated stacking place or on the designated construction section to be stacked as required to prevent material pollution and failure. When the asphalt is purchased and transported to the site, it shall be covered to prevent spillage. Store and use it away from fire sources, and there shall be no flammable products within 10m. The setting preparation of asphalt processing station includes setting up oil pan, excavating preheating fire channel, arranging oil loading site, setting up oiler rest shed, communication, construction of oil sprinkler transportation channel, etc. Environmental factors shall be controlled according to the construction requirements of temporary facilities. Generally speaking, asphalt processing station is not suitable to be set up on site due to the high risk and toxicity of asphalt processing station.
(2) The oil supply length of the oil field should be 10~15km, and should not exceed 15km, so as to prevent the increase of transportation vehicles caused by the increase of transportation volume and the excessive consumption of energy.
(3) The heating station shall be arranged 1km away from the residential area to prevent air pollution in the residential area. Before construction, acceptance inspection shall be carried out for the base course, and measurement and lofting shall be carried out before spraying the coating oil to prevent material waste and new pollution sources caused by rework due to unqualified procedures. Emergency plans shall also be prepared to control environmental pollution such as emission of toxic and harmful gases, possible fire and scalding of asphalt, and operators shall wear protective equipment.
2. Construction of asphalt surface treatment
(1) During the construction of surface treatment, the base shall be moistened first, and the cleaned floating soil, sundries and loose sand and gravel shall be cleaned in time and stacked at the designated place. Sludge on old black pavement and cement pavement shall be removed or washed with water to prevent noise, and sewage shall be discharged into the pool for reuse. Spraying tools shall be used to spray the coating oil to avoid spillage.
(2) When spreading asphalt and mineral materials, the construction personnel shall wear masks to prevent poisoning. The scattered bitumen and mineral aggregate shall be collected and reused in time, and other wastes shall be cleaned up in time and transported to the designated place for unified treatment. During the transportation and storage of mineral materials, attention should be paid to the fact that small materials cannot be mixed with large materials, and the remaining materials in the hopper should be cleaned up when spreading mineral materials, otherwise the mineral materials in the hopper will easily card the roller, causing the broken chain of the spreader to fail to operate normally and damage the equipment.
(3) Rolling shall be started after the mineral aggregate is spread for a period and it is not necessary to wait for the whole period to be sprinkled, so as to avoid condensation of mineral aggregate and increase of rolling power. Generally, it is advisable to press 2~3 times to prevent overpressure from increasing oil consumption and exhaust gas of the road roller. At the end of rolling, methods such as directing traffic or setting up roadblocks to control the lane and speed (generally 20~30 km/h) shall be adopted to avoid rework caused by passing vehicles grinding down the road surface, wasting energy and materials.
